The clutch will be enabled after the pressure decreases to less than 1578 kPa (229 psi). The PCM disables the compressor clutch if the A/C pressure is more than 2957 kPa (429 psi). The A/C refrigerant pressure sensor protects the A/C system from operating when an excessively high pressure condition exists. The PCM converts the voltage signal to a pressure value. When the A/C refrigerant pressure is high, the signal value is near 5 volts. When the A/C refrigerant pressure is low, the signal value is near 0 volts. I've had Duramax's in a 2007.5, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015.5, and now this 2016, so I'm familiar with the Duramax and DEF, but I've never had a problem until now.The A/C refrigerant pressure sensor is a 3-wire piezoelectric pressure transducer. My dealer tries hard to take care of me, but sometimes it is easier if you can point them in the right direction. I'd like to have a TSB I can give them that tells them to replace the tank or sensor or whatever it is, so I do not have to make a return trip. I'm not interested in having them clear the code and seeing if it returns. I've seen TSB's for the 2010-2012 model pickups, but does anyone have one for a 2016? I'm going to take my pickup back to the dealer (80 miles away) on Saturday and get my 2015.5 back until they get this fixed. I've been reading threads on here, and this seems relatively common that it has to do with the Def tank sensor. The pickup has 429 miles on it (250+ miles were put on by the dealership trying to make sure the air was out of the coolant system, as the first time I took it home a week ago I made it 30 miles before stopping and finding antifreeze running out of the coolant tank and then returning it to the dealership.). I picked up my new 2016 Denali HD from my dealer today for the second time, and after I got home it is now throwing a "Service Exhuast Fluid System" "Speed limited to 65 mph after 82 miles." I initially thought it was low on DEF, so I added 5 gallon, and then realized it was saying "Service" and not anything about being low.
